At Healing Nook, I, Hanna Anderson, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), support adults and couples in navigating life’s challenges with clarity, compassion, and evidence-based care.
When working with individuals, my work is rooted in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), helping clients understand their thought patterns and build practical skills for meaningful, lasting change. When working with couples, my work is rooted in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy framework to help partners strengthen communication, deepen understanding, and rebuild connection. While these approaches guide my work, I always tailor therapy to each person’s unique needs and lived experiences. This means taking an integrative approach—drawing on techniques from various modalities to ensure that therapy best meet my clients needs.
I support adults and couples struggling with: anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, relationship challenges, life transitions, body image concerns, pregnancy and postpartum stress, self-esteem issues, and trauma.
My therapeutic modalities include, but are not limited to, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and person-centered approaches.
My goal is to create a warm, collaborative environment where you feel supported, seen, and empowered—whether you’re seeking clarity, healing, or meaningful change.
