Service Overview: Third Culture Kid (TCK) Therapy

Third Culture Kid support is a therapeutic approach designed to help individuals who have spent significant parts of their childhood living in cultures different from their parents’ heritage culture(s). TCK experiences often involve frequent moves, cultural blending, and questions of “Where do I belong?” and “Who am I truly?”

Rather than pathologizing these experiences, therapy focuses on understanding identity formation, managing transitions, strengthening self-connection, and building meaningful belonging in your current life.

  • Navigating identity confusion or cultural tension

  • Feeling “in-between” cultures or homes

  • Adjusting after moving or repatriating

  • Difficulty connecting socially or feeling understood

  • Persistent questions about belonging and self-definition

  • Emotional overwhelm tied to transition or change
